A Beginner’s Guide to Survival

a-beginner-s-guide-to-survival

When it comes to being a survivalist or outdoor enthusiast, there are tons of helpful resources out there. There are so many that it can actually become overwhelming; getting lost in the clutter of tips, tricks, and guides is a very real thing. One very important thing to note is that there are many ways to get started and many things that can distract you from the most important.

When you’re just getting started, focus on a few things first.

What to focus on when you’re just getting started:

  • Warmth
  • Sleeping comfort
  • Security
  • Sanitary conditions
  • Maintaining a secure, cool area for food

Once you’ve gotten these things taken care of, you’re ready to move on to the more advanced skills. If you’re looking for a cool way to get the conversation started, or need some professional advice, check out our Facebook page. Our members know what’s up.

Becoming an outdoor/survival pro is possible, but if you don’t know where to start, you’ll never get there.
